iDAP College offers a complete job placement service that is available only to its Instructor graduates. While some programs may provide Instructors with a list of possibilities and then leave these individuals to their own resources the iDAP College service offers an organized, comprehensive approach with involvement of a manager specializing in dive industry placement.
Our Placement Manager individually assists each student to prepare a professional, typeset resume, focusing on accomplishments and skills that will attract the attention of dive employers. Resumes are prepared on our computers and emailed along with photos and cover letters to prospective employers. The Placement Manager also follows up with personal long-distance phone calls and assists in setting up in-person or phone interviews.
iDAP College and Asia Diver's reputation is a drawing card to resorts and dive facilities seeking new employees. Our graduates are working in areas that include the Philippines, Australia, Germany, U.K., Red Sea, liveaboard dive operations and resorts throughout the world. Even after initial placement, graduates may always return later for assistance when changing jobs.
We guarantee to find you a job within 60 days of graduation. To qualify for this exclusive Job Placement Pledge students must:
- Successfully complete the “Fast-Track Career Training Plan” (Go Pro II, PADI IE, Go Pro III and Go Pro IV)
- Complete the courses consecutively
- Maintain a minimum score of 4.0
- Maintain an above average work ethic and attitude
- Put forth a good effort on all job interviews
- Meet work permit stipulations and be willing to work worldwide
- Complete all job placement paperwork within seven days of starting the Resort Operations Program
