After many months of planning we\u2019re super excited to see this day. Our photo workshop with two very talented underwater photographers Phil Rudin<\/strong> and Beth Watson<\/strong> has just started.<\/p>\n

The camera room is busting at the seams and everyone is all good to go for a great week of learning, shooting and fun. It\u2019s very much a hands-on workshop with a chance for everyone to get some training on techniques for both in and out of the water. Mixed in with lots of great diving, there will be some presentations, lessons in Lightroom and of course getting to learn from each other. Very excited to see what everyone comes out with this week.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s been happening at Asia Divers?<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s been 8 years since we\u2019ve seen Dave Archer<\/strong> here. It\u2019s been wonderful to have him, Tasanee<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/span>James<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>and Kimmy<\/strong> here with us. Congratulations to James who has taken his first steps in diving on this trip, doing the Bubblemaker<\/a> course in the pool and then out on some dives in the ocean.<\/span><\/p>\n

Justin<\/strong>, Camden<\/strong>, Elly<\/strong>, Elsie<\/strong>, Allen<\/strong> and Jackie<\/strong> can hardly wait to jump in to the 29 degree water!<\/p>\n

Alli<\/strong> and Artur<\/strong> celebrating in the Sports Bar right after the Raptors won the NBA game. It was a very nail biting last few minutes. The flag will now earn its place in The Point Bar<\/strong> along with the other flags up on the ceiling.<\/p>\n

Great to have Murata<\/strong> back with a group of divers this week. He\u2019s been a long time friend of ours for more than 30 years!<\/p>\n

Family holidays are super fun when it involves diving. Congratulations to Elspeth<\/strong>, Andrea<\/strong> and Madeleine<\/strong> for doing the PADI Advanced Open Water course<\/a>. They all had a great time being taught by Pete and enjoying some great fun dives with him along the way.<\/p>\n

Elie<\/strong> is all good to go for his 100th dive.<\/p>\n

The 100th dive for Elie<\/strong> was at The Canyons with Alli<\/strong>, Ally<\/strong> and Sheila<\/strong>. Perfect current, lots and lots of big schools of big fishes and big smiles on everyone\u2019s face.<\/p>\n

E-IDC update<\/h2>\n

Freediving –\u00a0 VIP visit by Jean-Pol Fran\u00e7ois (JP) of Freediving Planet\u2026<\/h3>\n

\"Jean-PolSabine is back in PG and right away back in the water with Jean-Pol Fran\u00e7ois (aka \u201cJP\u201d), founder of Freediving Planet to introduce him to Asiadivers for some exploration freedives around this area. JP is PADI and AIDA Freediving Instructor Trainer, Judge trainer and organiser of countless national and international freediving competitions \u2013 and also holds the national static apnea record of Belgium. It was JP\u2019s first visit to PG and he was quite impressed with the dive sites, the facilities and the team.. So hold your breath for more exciting freediving news\u2026 something\u2019s brewing\u2026 \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

\"freedivingJP\u2019s friend Dyna was also visiting PG for the first time and took a few nice underwater pictures during the freedives\u2026 and she\u2019s in some of them too.<\/p>\n
