Despite a bit of windy weather the diving conditions have been awesome. Some days we’re getting 25-30 meter vis and the water is still a nice 27-28 degrees. Here are a couple nice photos that Chen took this week.

“El Galleon – Nice enough rooms / resort, clean and comfortable. “More than adequate” and all staff were exceedingly helpful. Dive Centre was a slick operation & very professional, with well-structured diving. Easy to do 4 dives / day with dive sites only 10 mins away from the resort, it was great to be able to go back to your room between dives. Exceedingly good corals & an abundance of fish life, all very colourful. Many shoals of fish, but no big stuff seen. Lovely canyon dives, some had healthy currents. “Hole in the wall” dive site was great.”

Alli and Chen (pictured with Ocean, Conny and Sharon from PADI) spent a couple days in Manila to attend the PADI Chinese focused Business Academy. We learned all about the latest trends in Chinese marketing and social media and even had a fun time with #MannequinChallenge. It’s always nice to have a group sent here from our travel agent WILD WATER DIVING HOLIDAYS from Belgium. Plenty of sun, great diving, wonderful food and amazing new adventures made the holiday a success.
Fernando was on a “mission” this week, exploring the reefs and wrecks beyond recreational limits, going deeper and staying longer, successfully completing the PADI Tec 40 course with Sabine. Great job dealing with 3 tanks instead of 1 and learning about decompression procedures, gas shares on long hose and other new skills and equipment to play with. Serious fun over a short 3 days.
Only fourteen days until Christmas! If you’re looking for a place to enjoy the holidays and not have to be the one to do all that cooking and cleaning, come and enjoy it with us. We will have delicious Christmas and New Years dinners, an underwater treasure hunt on the 25th and of course lots of great diving going on. We kick it off with the kid’s party on the 24th when Santa and his helper will come and hand out gifts and then feed around 300 kids. Christmas dinner starts from 6:30pm onwards. Allan, Tommy, Alli and Rhuby will be at the DEMA Show November 16-19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. As the annual trade-only event for qualified professionals, DEMA Show attracts more than 9,000 attendees and features over 500 leading manufacturers, destinations, wholesalers and service providers all dedicated to the diving, action water sports and travel industries.
