Look who’s back…

june17d1

It was a fun weekend with these ladies in town. Welcome back to Akiko Tada, Sue Breniman and first timer with us, Gail Willow who celebrated her birthday during this long weekend! Highlights of the weekend included Canyons and Verde that were at their best, Gail receiving a special little birthday present by spending some quality time with a lovely blue-ringed octopus and of course a few too many drinks.

Spectacular sunsets at the Barrel bar these past few days with many enjoying the view and of course the cocktails!

Diving with Asia Divers

It was great to have this fun group here with us from Always Dive Expeditions in Australia. The whole gang was very experienced divers and most have been to PG before, so they knew about the amazing diving awaiting them. Thanks to Grahame Selleck for bringing everyone here (Eddie Hamid, Geoffrey Nangle, Martin Clarke, Aiden McGilvry, David Inglis, Vincenzo Mirarchi, Peter O’Donoghoue, Brett Wallace, Robert Porter)

Congratulations to Alexander Nelson for completing his PADI Open Water course today! He did an amazing job and we got the added bonus of two turtles and one big frogfish. It’s always nice to have Kimberly and her dad, Jim visit us along with many members of her family over the past years.

Klein Scuba was founded by Phil Klein. Phil’s interest in diving began in the mid 70’s and was sparked by his older brother, who was already a diver.  Phil loved diving and in order to get more involved, he decided to help the only local instructor with his classes. That continued for five years until that instructor decided to move to Florida.  At that time, there were no other scuba instructors within several counties.  So, Phil went to PADI College in San Diego and achieved his instructor certification. Have a look at their website to learn more about them:  http://www.kleinscuba.com/ . Thank you to Philip and Marcia Klein for coming back to El Galleon/Asia Divers!
