Exams done and dusted – they all passed with flying colors!

A great party was had to celebrate our candidates who all have now become New PADI Instructors. Congratulations go to Alain, Nick and Yann for a job very well done. Some of our candidates even had the best scores attainable during the IE and scored a flat 5 points on all skills and presentations! Wow !

Thanks to the entire team at Asia Divers for the great support during the IDC and especially to Louise and Brad for being the “notorious” students/ divemasters on practice sessions and workshops 😉

Wishing Allan’s mom Joyce, a very happy 90^th birthday!  Allan and his family we’re there with her in Australia for the celebration this past week.

This coming weekend will see Asia Divers at two different dives shows in Asia. If you’re in the area please do drop by! Chen will be in Shanghai, Allan and Alli and Sabine in Singapore.

Happy 60^th to Tommy! A very nice celebration with family and friends happened on the platform.

The sister and brother’s Soderstrom …Tommy, Carina and Kjell.  

OZTek dive show in Sydney…Dave Ross and Allan Nash have been there for the past few days showing Australia what we got and also getting to see some of our friends there too like Khayyam Miran-khan.

Our 30th Anniversary party is on the weekend of November 24, 25, 26th. So…come

For the tenth year in the row we have had the pleasure of having the Dubai American Academy with us. This time their focus was mostly on sailing, but they also got to experience many other wonderful aspects of the Philippines: Verde Island school visit, sunset cruise to Talipanan, day trip to Tukaran and good fun snapping up the friendship bracelets from the vendors.

If you happen to be in Singapore this coming weekend go and see Beth Watson’s presentation at the DRT show. Date- Time: Sat, 25th & 5:40-6:20, Topic: Shooting Wide Angle … A Path to Freedom, Venue: Stage B — at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Ocean Dive Supply Philippines had their annual Staff meeting in Cebu in the weekend. Only missing was Krizthel from PG who took care of recording the diving and Melgy in Coron that could not make it.

After the more serious part of the weekend where Tommy went through how the stores are doing, sales training, work procedures and marketing the staff went for a city tour of Cebu.  Dinner of course was a highlight with all 24 together having Pasta and Pizza in the new Time Square area of Cebu.

It’s hard to believe, but this year marks Asia Divers 30^th anniversary. It just seems like we just celebrated our 25^th! We’re going to have our Anniversary party the weekend of November 24, 25, 26^th. More exact details will be published later about what will be happening, but believe me it’s going to be fun.
