PADI Basic Freediver Course
Minimum Age: To enroll in a PADI Basic Freediver course you must be 12 years old or older.
Duration: ½ day
Prerequisites: You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving or freediving is required.

Description: The PADI Basic Freediver course is a subset of the PADI Freediver course. It’s a great first step for developing solid freediving skills. You learn basic freediving principles and focus on practicing breathhold techniques in a pool or confined water site.
Academic/in-water activities: The PADI Basic Freediver course consists of two main phases: Knowledge development through independent study with the PADI Freediver eLearning (or your instructor may conduct class sessions if not available in a language you understand).
A two-hour confined water session to learn breathhold techniques as well as static and dynamic apnea, plus proper buddy procedures. Goal – static apnea of 90 seconds and dynamic apnea of 25 meters/80 feet.
Additional training/ coaching sessions may be booked in blocks of 2 hours to help you achieve your goals.

PADI Freediver Course
Minimum Age: To enroll in a PADI Freediver course you must be at least 15 years old. Younger than 15? 12-year-olds and older can enroll in the PADI Basic Freediver course
Duration: 2 days included in the course.
Prerequisites: You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving, or freediving is required.

If you’ve always wanted to enter the underwater world quietly, on your own terms, staying as long as your breath allows, then freediving is for you. Taking the PADI Freediver course is your first step toward discovering why freediving is becoming a popular way to explore beneath the waves.
Academic/ in water activities: The PADI Freediver course consists of three main phases:
- Knowledge development about freediving principles through independent study with PADI Freediver eLearning (or your instructor may conduct class sessions if not available in a language you understand).
- Confined water session to learn breathhold techniques as well as static and dynamic apnea. Goal – static apnea of 90 seconds and dynamic apnea of 25 meters/80 feet.
- Open water sessions to practice free immersion and constant weight freedives, plus proper buddy procedures. Goal – constant weight freedive of 10 meters/30 feet.

Freediving Coaching Sessions
Minimum Age: 15 years old
Duration: Max two-hour sessions
Prerequisites: Freediving training sessions are for certified freedivers, not for complete beginners. If you have never freedived before you should attend a beginner course prior to joining any training session.
Price: If you are taking a Freediving Course with us and want some additional coaching to achieve your goals, an additional 2-hour session will cost USD $46
Coaching for Certified Freedivers not on Course:
- 1 coaching session $61.00
- 2-4 coaching sessions $55.00 per session
- 5-9 coaching sessions $52.00 per session
- 10+ coaching sessions $49.00 per session
Description: Your instructor will be coaching you, giving you guidance, such as feedback on technique as well as providing your safety and set-up of buoys and ropes at a suitable depth. The sessions can help you in reaching goals such as holding your breath longer, improving your equalization technique, improving your diving technique, your diving depth, and more. Like every sport, freediving is about dedication and training.
In order to get more of your freediving course, consider taking an extra training session, of your choice. It can be static in the pool or training in the sea. It is really important to keep practicing.
